Dantes Guddommelige Komedie

Sound design og Qlab Programming

Stina Ekblad stands alone on stage in one of literature's greatest works.

In the guise of the character Dante, she takes you on a psychological journey where encounters with fear, shame, and infinite suffering teach Dante about life. We are in the year 1300. Dante can no longer find direction in life, and despair leads him on a journey through Hell, Purgatory, and Paradise - in this production with beautiful verse rhythms, humor, and Italian pop as faithful companions.

With THE DIVINE COMEDY, the Italian poet Dante Alighieri created an eyewitness account of what it means to wander through Hell. Dante was therefore one of the first to put words and images to the concept of Hell. Images that have since been crucial to our notions of Hell - in painting, literature, film, and music.
